My show was rescheduled and, as it is out of state and 9 months later, I can't go. When I bought the tickets, I had originally started out on the venue's website and it directed me to vivid seats. I went through the whole process of buying and purchasing and even bought the guarantee. Because my show was only postponed and not canceled, it didn't fall under the guarantee. I learned this after spending 20 minutes on the "chat with us" option and repeating the same info multiple times. I went back on to their website, as I was told to do by the chat guy Christian, and tried to re-sell my tickets. Found out that they are mobile delivered tickets sent to my ticketmaster account and therefore can't sell them through vivid seats unless I was a "large seller," which I am obviously not. Went on to ticketmaster to try to sell them and they can't because the tickets are re-sale. I called VividSeats customer service and after being hung up on twice and going through at least 8 menus, I finally talked to someone. I asked if I could have a pdf version of my tickets and she said they can't do that and proceeded to tell me how to go to google and sell my tickets. Ridiculously insensitive workers and their practices are not user friendly at all. I also realized how over-inflated the prices were once I reached checkout. I was able to use stubhub to set up a listing but even if I do sell my tickets, I'm losing out on a lot of money because of how high the hidden fees are. If I had been able to purchase through ticket master, my tickets would have been $80 cheaper even with their fees. Guess that was the cost to learn not to ever use vivid seats again.
