I bought 4 Depeche seats from Vivid in October. ($1850). 5 months later, On concert day, March 28, 4:10pm, after I badgered them for months about my tickets which still haven’t arrived, they finally admit there are no tickets. Vivid cannot help you find comparable seats because they’re already sold and now double the price. They might find you single, scattered tickets for triple the price. Customer service will tell you for months the seller is “having trouble transferring the tickets” and “don’t worry the tickets will be transferred before concert day”, “if the tickets don’t show up we will get you comparable concert tickets guaranteed.” Vivid’s policy is not there to protect the buyer. I was taking 4 guests to the concert, all who flew into town for this show. They allowed my VIVID refund at 4:30 (and $500 extra vivid credit ) and so I scrambled to find nosebleed tickets (;almost behind the stage) from another website. Vivid will not give you Vivid credit immediately so you can at least scramble for tickets on their website. Vivid takes your money and says you have your tickets even though no tickets are sent to you. $500 Vivid credit is useless when tickets are sold out or triple the price after waiting 5 months. Vivid forces the buyer to wait to the very last hour to tell you the seller can’t give you the tickets. If the event is very important to you, pay a little extra elsewhere to get better service and honesty.
