I ordered two tickets a month before a concert and got an e-mail that my order was confirmed. Then two weeks later I got an email deceptively titled "Here's an additional credit on your next event with seat geek" but it actually takes a careful read of the email to realize that they screwed up the order and you don't have tickets at all. They say they give you a 110% refund but that is only as a promo code if you get the refund as cash you only get 100%. This of course doesn't take into account that I have to pay double for the tickets now that it is much closer to the concert date than I did if I had purchased them from a competitor like Stub Hub. I wonder if they even have a confirmed seller or they just say they do so they can get your business, then if it turns out they don't have a seller they just say something happened to the order and give you a refund which seems like a scam.
I bought tickets from Stub Hub to replace the ones that Seat Geek had screwed up. I called Stub Hub and was able to speak with an actual live person almost immediately with only a one minute hold time. She was able to confirm my order and let me know when the tickets would be transferred. Seat Geek not only screwed up my order but they don't even have a customer service phone number.
